Anuprova Bhowmik
Undergraduate Reasearcher (Sophomore in Computer Science + Chemistry, University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign)
Anuprova is a sophomore majoring in Computer Science + Chemistry at UIUC with a minor in Molecular and Cellular Biology. She is on the pre-med track and plans on attending medical school after graduation.
Current Research
As a computer science and chemistry major, Anuprova is interested in combining medicine and technology to advance understanding of hepatic regeneration. Currently, she is working on developing computational post-processing pipelines to enhance our understanding of the spatiotemporal dynamics of RNA-binding proteins.
Outside the lab
Outside the lab, Anuprova likes dancing, playing soccer, and going on long walks with her friends and family. She is currently a member of UIUC Fataaka, the all-girls Bollywood dance team on campus.
